Should I get my hair colored, buy new clothes, and how long should i wait before going back out on the dating scene?Any advice for me to get over an upcoming divorce?
If you'd feel better making a few changes in your life, certainly go for it by all means. Make things as easy on yourself as possible. If a new hair do %26amp; a couple sharp outfits w/help lift your spirits, go for it. I admire you, %26amp; you don't sound like the type of person who's going to go around w/an whoa is me attitude! Good for you. Do whatever you have to in order to start your new beginning. Put the past in the past %26amp; leave it there. You won't have to ask when you're ready to get out %26amp; about again, you'll just feel it when the time comes. Get it as soon as possible so that you can get on with your life. Don't be quick to rush back into it again! If you can afford to and want to have your hair colored and buy new clothes--and anything else that you can afford--do it! Just be careful and who you date. There are a lot of nuts out there.

I wouldn't give it a 2nd thought. Sounds like you've got it under control, and will be handling it very well.

Write down all the reasons you got divorced on a piece of paper so you have it to refer to when times are tough to remind you of what the whole thing was about. You will forget and it is important to remember this so you don't get back into the same or another bad relationship.


Start the dating scene as soon as you feel comfortable with it.
