mr. and mrs. bride's parents

groom's mom

groom's dad and wife (stepmom of groom)

i appreciate any advice you have. thank you!Wedding invitation word advice needed - divorced parents?
Mr. and Mrs. John Doe

Mrs. Jane Dear

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Black

request the honor of your presence

you get the idea for the rest :)

Put the bride's parents first, then the groom's mother then the groom's father and his wife, you don't need to ';label'; them, you can do that in the program, if you wish. On the invitation just put their names.

Best wishes!Wedding invitation word advice needed - divorced parents?
you say... we are pleased to announce ';brides name'; daughter of mr. and mrs. ';parents name to ';grooms name'; son of ';mom's name'; and ';dad and stepmoms name';.

for example :

we are pleased to anounce the marriage of ';jane jones'; daughter of ';mr and mrs jones'; to ';joe johnson'; son of ';mary johnson'; and ';jim and judy johnson';.
';Together with their Families';

';their families'; includes everyone, keeps the wording simple and to the point and fits nicely on the invitation.

So, something like:

Together with their Families.

Jane A. Doe

and

John A. Smith

request your presents

my husband and I had this issue at our wedding. We just simply said ';together with their families';

It pleased everyone.
Before they met, their strength was of one

Congratulations on your wedding...may you have a beautiful day and long, happy life together!
I am not certain how to word it , but if you go to a store where they sell wedding invites they uually have books with all the wedding invites, in the books they have different ways to word invites for different situations. It may go something like:

Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson

request your presence in the marriage of

their daughter

Susan May Thompson

to

Matthew Jones

son

of

Ms. Mary Jones (mother)

and

Mr. %26amp; Mrs. Steven Jones (Dad and Stepmom)

Remember Ms. is for a person that is divorced. I hope this helps.
Bride's parents- Mr. %26amp; Mrs.________

Groom's parents- Ms. _____ and Mr. and Mrs. _________
